JinkoSolar Half Cell Really Matters At All-Energy Australia

10/11/2017

Australia, October 11, 2017 –JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd. (NYSE: JKS) (the "Company," or "JinkoSolar"), a global leader in the solar PV industry, today announced that it made a splash today showcasing its half-cell products at All-Energy Australia in Melbourne, illustrating its vision on the technical roadmap towards realization of grid parity. Half-cell technology enhances module price performance with its high compatibility with monocrystalline, polycrystalline, and PERC technologies, boosting power output by 5-10 watts per panel without adding much cost.

Anita Li, General Manager of JinkoSolar APAC, noted that half-cell will “positively benefit the entire industry value chain in a big way, including investors, installers, distributors, utilities project owners, households, and module manufacturers.”

"All industrial players across the world, no matter what position you are in, are struggling with increasing pressure to decrease dollar per watt. In this context, JinkoSolar unveiled its mass produced half-cell series to keep pace with and support this trend towards lower cost generation, alleviating our customers' pain points. Our industry leading, efficient, and reliable half-cell panel was specifically showcased in this year All-Energy to address the challenge of lowering generation cost." Ms. Li further commented.
