Recently, Zhejiang Jingpeng Zirconium Technology Co., Ltd and Zhejiang Lanyu Digital Technology Co., Ltd. installed 5 and 6 units of JinkoSolar’s Sungiga energy storage system at their facilities, with the capacity of 500kW/1075kWh and 600kW/1290kWh, respectively.
The 11 units of JinkoSolar’s SunGiga liquid cooling C&I ESS were seamlessly installed at two companies’ plants, helping customers:
1. Smoothing peak energy demand: The SunGiga battery system will shift energy demand to the battery during high-demand periods, effectively reducing spikes in energy consumption.
2. Optimizing energy use: The battery can be charged during periods when electricity is cheapest, most abundant, and provided from clean sources such as solar. Once charged during off-peak hours, the battery can be programmed to discharge electricity during peak energy demand periods when power is expensive.
JinkoSolar’s SunGiga liquid cooling energy storage systems have become the best-selling C&I ESS in Zhejiang, which has long been a leader in China when it comes to C&I ESS adoption.
