Recently, global leading energy storage company Jinko ESS, a subsidiary corporation of Jinko Solar Co., Ltd., announced its cooperation with Zhejiang Haineng PV Co., Ltd., successfully delivering 8 units of SunGiga 261kWh C&I storage cabinets. These systems were deployed in Yueqing, Wenzhou, to provide energy storage support for local hotels, restaurants, and internet cafés. Through the model of commercial power use + storage regulation, the project aims to improve energy utilization efficiency and reduce electricity costs for businesses.
Tailored for commercial spaces with high electricity demand during specific hours, limited installation space, and strict safety needs, the SunGiga system offers a smart and compact solution. With real-time cell-level monitoring, thermal runaway alerts, IP55 protection, and a fully enclosed design, it ensures safe operation even in busy and moisture-prone settings. Its integrated PCS and compact footprint save 17% of space over traditional setups, while 80.92% energy density and 8000+ cycles deliver long-term value. it effectively supports peak-valley arbitrage for commercial customers, cutting electricity bills through load shifting while ensuring uninterrupted power supply for 24/7 operations like hotels.
“This cooperation is a key step in Jinko ESS’s expansion into commercial energy storage scenarios,” said Damon Duan, General Manager of Jinko ESS China. “Unlike industrial users, business like hotels have unique energy needs. Our SunGiga storage unit is built for safety, compactness, and economic performance, directly addressing the core concerns of reliability and cost. We will continue refining tailored solutions to help optimize energy use in the urban commercial sector.”
