On June 24, the 17th Annual Meeting of the New Champions of the World Economic Forum was held in Dalian. Premier Li Qiang attended the opening ceremony and delivered a special address. JinkoSolar, the global leading PV and ESS supplier, was invited to attend the summit and participated in several key side events, including a closed-door meeting between Premier Li Qiang and business leaders, where it offered constructive views and proposals on relevant topics.
At the opening ceremony, Premier Li Qiang, drawing on China’s economic development experience, put forward three key insights and initiatives:
1. As the 15th Five-Year Plan begins, the Chinese economy is forging a new path while adapting to changing circumstances.
2. Innovation-driven development is the key to ensuring the Chinese economy maintains long-term positive momentum and achieves steady, sustainable growth.
3. Innovation and cooperation are the inevitable choice for overcoming global growth challenges.
In addition, JinkoSolar was invited to attend several important closed-door sessions that day, including “Promoting the Comprehensive and Large-Scale Development of Climate Governance and Solutions,” “Intelligence for Resilience—AI Empowering the Construction of a Climate-Resilient Society,” and “China-Middle East and Africa Cooperation: Building the Future Together,” where the company presented constructive views and proposals on relevant topics.
In her remarks at the forum, JinkoSolar Vice President Dany Qian stated that isolated innovation, closed-door innovation, and innovation that cannot be commercialized or scaled up are insufficient to support our response to the increasingly urgent crises of climate change and the depletion of traditional energy resources. Openness—greater openness; innovation—greater innovation; cooperation—greater cooperation—is the only solution for our planet.
She also pointed out that establishing an autonomous, controllable, and sustainable energy system is not only a matter of climate but also concerns national energy security, independence, and economic competitiveness. A geopolitical conflict compounded by record-high temperatures has brought about a shift and heightened awareness in Europe regarding China’s green energy capabilities. Meanwhile, high electricity costs and the scarcity of green power have caused the development of U.S. data centers to face long-term setbacks. The Middle East’s ambitious new export strategy—combining green power with computing power—along with China’s stringent standards for the proportion of green power in newly built data centers, all present new opportunities for the industry.
JinkoSolar aims to transition from a globally leading manufacturer of photovoltaic and energy storage equipment to an integrated provider of “energy storage + PV + AI dispatch” products and solutions. By deeply embedding itself into the energy infrastructure of AI data centers across the globe, the company helps computing power enterprises achieve “direct green power supply” and “green power aggregation,” thereby forming a new industrial ecosystem and establishing competitive barriers.
