Recently, Jinko ESS, a global leading energy storage company, has signed an agreement with Shandong Binyou Power Sales Co., Ltd. to deliver 68 units of its SunGiga 261kWh liquid-cooling storage system—totaling 17.74MWh in capacity. The first batch of 64 units has already been successfully delivered. Tailored for chemical industrial parks, the project leverages high-efficiency energy storage to help the client build a smart energy ecosystem that integrates power generation, grid management, consumption, and storage. The solution is designed to boost energy efficiency and grid reliability in demanding industrial environments.
In response to the high safety and environmental adaptability requirements of chemical plant applications, the delivered systems are equipped with an intelligent Battery Management System (BMS) capable of cell-level real-time monitoring and thermal runaway warning. Combined with a fully enclosed cabinet design and IP55 protection rating, the system can effectively resist dust, humidity, and other industrial environmental challenges. With a built-in 125kW PCS and high-voltage box, the system reduces installation footprint by 17% compared to the previous generation while increasing energy density to 80.92%. It supports over 8,000 life cycles and operates reliably in extreme temperatures from -30°C to 50°C—making it ideal for continuous operations in energy-intensive manufacturing.
“This collaboration marks an important step in Jinko ESS’s expansion into China’s C&I energy storage market,” said Damon Duan, General Manager of Jinko ESS China. “We’re pleased to provide a safe and efficient storage solution to help enhance the energy resilience of chemical parks and accelerate the integration of generation, grid, load, and storage in high energy-consumption scenarios. Looking ahead, Jinko ESS will continue to drive technological innovation and deliver customized storage solutions for more industrial clients.”
