Jinko ESS, a leading global energy storage company and a subsidiary of JinkoSolar Co., Ltd., unveiled its next-generation SunTera G5 energy storage system, AIDC (Artificial Intelligence Data Center) energy storage solution, and EMS+AI intelligent energy management system at the 19th (2026) International Photovoltaic Power Generation and Smart Energy & Energy Storage and Battery Conference & Exhibition (SNEC).
Centered on three key themes—utility-scale storage advancement, AI-era energy infrastructure, and intelligent energy storage operations—Jinko ESS demonstrated its comprehensive capabilities across utility-scale storage, commercial and industrial (C&I) storage, and smart energy management. The showcase addressed diversified application scenarios including renewable energy integration, C&I storage, microgrids, standalone energy storage, and AIDC facilities, highlighting the company's latest achievements in the integration of Solar + Storage + AI.
SunTera G5 Debuts: Redefining High-Density Energy Storage
During the exhibition, Jinko ESS spotlighted its all-new SunTera G5 Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), designed to deliver next-generation high-capacity and long-duration energy storage with superior space efficiency.
Built on a highly integrated CTP (Cell-to-Pack) architecture, the system leverages flexible cell fixation, coordinated thermal management, and optimized structural design to achieve an areal energy density of 570+ kWh/m², setting a leading benchmark for standard 20-foot containerized energy storage systems and significantly enhancing energy value per unit footprint.
At the same time, the system delivers a round-trip efficiency (RTE) exceeding 96% and supports a 25-year lifecycle with ≥70% state of health (SOH), enabling lifecycle alignment with solar assets. Integrated AI capabilities further empower predictive battery health analysis, proactive fault warning, and intelligent O&M optimization, providing higher returns and greater reliability for renewable integration, grid-side storage, energy-intensive industrial parks, and AIDC applications.
Addressing AI-Era Energy Demand: AIDC Solution Unveiled
In response to surging computing power demand driven by large AI models and inference workloads, Jinko ESS also introduced its full-scenario energy storage solution tailored for Artificial Intelligence Data Centers (AIDC).
Designed to meet the requirements of high-density computing, highly fluctuating loads, and ultra-reliable power supply, the solution portfolio spans second-level backup power, minute-level response, hourly energy regulation, and long-duration energy storage, supporting diverse needs ranging from rack-level backup to campus-scale energy storage deployment.
Powered by Jinko ESS's fully self-developed BMS, EMS, and OPS platforms, the solution enables optimized energy dispatch, battery health forecasting, and proactive safety warning, facilitating the transition of data center power systems from conventional backup power to intelligent compute-power and energy coordination.
EMS+AI Unlocks Smarter Energy Storage Monetization
On the digitalization front, Jinko ESS showcased its proprietary EMS+AI intelligent energy management system.
Driven by dual intelligence engines—an Energy Agent and a Battery Agent—the platform integrates advanced AI capabilities including load forecasting, electricity price prediction, battery diagnostics, fault alerts, and intelligent trading strategies. By dynamically optimizing operational strategies, the system transforms energy storage management from equipment-centric operation toward proactive revenue optimization.
Currently, Jinko ESS's EMS+AI platform has been deployed across multiple scenarios, including C&I energy storage, microgrids, off-grid systems, and generation-grid-side applications, helping customers maximize asset availability and improve overall economic performance.
Comprehensive Product Portfolio Demonstrates Full-Scenario Capability
In addition to newly launched products and frontier solutions, Jinko ESS also exhibited the SunTera G3 utility-scale liquid-cooled energy storage system, SunGiga C&I energy storage solution, and self-developed control-layer products, covering utility-scale, C&I, and microgrid applications.
The exhibition further demonstrated the company's end-to-end capability spanning storage equipment, system control, and intelligent operational platforms.
As the global energy system accelerates toward greater intelligence and decarbonization, energy storage is evolving beyond standalone equipment competition toward scenario-driven solutions and integrated value creation—from renewable energy integration and C&I applications to microgrids, off-grid systems, and AIDC facilities.
Backed by continuous technological innovation, a full-scenario product portfolio, and a comprehensive service system covering solution design, equipment delivery, commissioning, remote O&M, and lifecycle management, Jinko ESS will continue to deepen the integration of Solar + Storage + AI, delivering safer, smarter, and more efficient solutions to support the high-quality evolution of global energy infrastructure.
