Recently, three major energy efficiency standards for the photovoltaic industry were officially released. Among them, the new national standard titled “Energy Efficiency Limit Values and Energy Efficiency Grades for Crystalline Silicon Photovoltaic Modules and Inverters” establishes clear, mandatory standards for photovoltaic module energy efficiency. Products and services that do not meet these standards may not be manufactured, sold, imported, or provided. This signifies that industry competition has officially entered a new era of high-efficiency development. As a leading photovoltaic and energy storage enterprise, JinkoSolar will continue to drive industrial upgrading through technological innovation and empower the industry’s high-quality development with high-power production capacity.

Using conversion efficiency as the benchmark, the new national standard classifies crystalline silicon PV module energy efficiency into three tiers, establishing clear guidelines for the industry. Specifically, TOPCon modules in tiers 1–3 must achieve photovoltaic conversion efficiencies of 24.0%, 23.7%, and 23.2%, respectively, with a bifaciality ratio of no less than 75% and a module-coupled environmental stress degradation rate of no more than 8.6%. This standard not only establishes clear efficiency thresholds but will also guide the industry back to the essence of technological competition, allowing high-quality production capacity to secure genuine market share.

As a leader in TOPCon technology, JinkoSolar’sTiger Neo 3.0 series modules exceed the new national standard’s Level 1 requirements thanks to their comprehensive efficiency advantages, including a module efficiency of 24.8%, a power output range of 650W–670W, and a bifaciality of 85% ± 5%. At the same time, these modules successfully passed rigorous testing by the China Photovoltaic Product Quality Inspection and Testing Center (CPVT) and were awarded the Grade 1 Certificate of Conformity for Crystalline Silicon PV Module Energy Efficiency (Mandatory National Standard), marking their energy efficiency performance as having received authoritative national-level certification.

The implementation of the new national standard signifies that the PV industry has officially bid farewell to the era of “low-price competition” and entered a new cycle of high-quality development “led by standards.” JinkoSolar’s Tiger Neo 3.0 modules, with their robust performance that exceeds Grade 1 energy efficiency standards. This not only validates the leadership and reliability of TOPCon technology but also underscores JinkoSolar’s firm commitment to driving industrial upgrading through technological innovation. As inefficient production capacity is rapidly phased out due to its inability to meet standards, high-efficiency, high-quality capacity—represented by the Tiger Neo 3.0—is becoming the backbone of the industry’s high-quality development in the era of the new national standard.
