Recently, Jinko ESS, a global leading energy storage company and a subsidiary of Jinko Solar Co., Ltd. announced a technical compatibility collaboration with ComAp, a global provider of control solutions for hybrid power systems and microgrids. The cooperation focuses on integrating Jinko ESS’s SunGiga All-in-One G2 commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage system with ComAp’s InteliNeo energy management portfolio, enabling coordinated operation across grid-connected and off-grid applications. This collaboration reflects Jinko ESS’s continued efforts to enhance system interoperability and practical deployment of C&I energy storage solutions across global markets.
Through joint technical alignment and testing in Europe and China, the two teams have validated support for Virtual Synchronous Generator (VSG) functionality on the SunGiga All-in-One G2 when operated with ComAp InteliNeo controllers. The implementation of VSG allows the battery energy storage system to provide grid-forming capabilities, supporting voltage and frequency stability in weak-grid, islanded, and transition scenarios. This capability helps improve power quality and operational reliability, particularly in hybrid systems combining renewables, storage, and conventional generation.
The combined solution is suited for a wide range of C&I and microgrid applications, including peak shaving, backup power, demand management, and hybrid PV- or wind-plus-storage projects. Leveraging standardized communications and established control strategies, the solution supports flexible system design and efficient commissioning across different regions. By working with ecosystem partners such as ComAp, Jinko ESS continues to support customers in deploying stable, scalable, and application-ready energy storage systems
