Recently, Jinko ESS, a global leading energy storage solution provider and a subsidiary of Jinko Solar Co., Ltd., has delivered and deployed four sets of its SunGiga 261kWh liquid-cooling energy storage systems in Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province. The systems will be integrated into EV charging infrastructure at a local school and a shopping mall, enabling coordinated operation of solar, storage, and charging. This setup enhances the economic efficiency of charging operations and grid interaction, providing a more stable and efficient power experience for faculty and staff, visiting EV owners, and customers.
Designed to meet the integrated demands for safety, space utilization, and operational efficiency in both campus and mall, the SunGiga 261kWh system delivers support centered on “high safety” and “high adaptability.” Equipped with an intelligent BMS and cabinet-level safety protection, the system ensures long-term, stable operation in open, high-traffic environments. It also features smart energy management that enables dynamic load scheduling for EV charging based on demand forecasting, effectively leveraging time-of-use electricity pricing to reduce daily operating costs and improve overall energy efficiency and operational performance for the sites.
“We are pleased to bring the SunGiga energy storage system into Jiaxing’s campus and commercial charging scenarios,” said Damon Duan, General Manager of Jinko ESS China. “This demonstrates our flexible deployment capabilities and deep understanding of small-to-medium commercial and industrial storage applications. Jinko ESS remains committed to providing safe, reliable, and efficient products that support more distributed urban energy applications and contribute to the sustainable development of charging infrastructure.”
